Academic Writing/ Editing
Class Publications
During my senior year of college I took a Rhetoric class. The main focus of the course was our magazine project. At the beginning of the semester we created resumes and cover letters applying to be the editors or editors in chief of some new magazines. Once the editor's in chief were chosen and the magazine groups organized, we came up with magazine proposals and started creating them. We were each in charge of editing and designing our own class magazine along with writing articles for other groups. I acted as editor for Culture and Cuisine and as a writer for other magazines. Below are the articles I wrote for this project.
My Articles:
"Mesa Verde" (bottom of the page)
"Good Values Make a Man Forever Strong"
Jubilee!
English Toffee (my article is in the recipe section)
